OK, July is here and it's HOT!  I know I probably have no right to complain (especially to those in Texas and other such crazy places to live)  but I miss the snow already.

Ryen just turned Eight! She had a slumber party  with a few friends & stayed up ALL NIGHT LONG! I don't know about you, but as a dad I don't think I gave my mom such grief until my teens.

Colleen & Scott got married!  Of course, in true Colleen style, nobody really knew when or where and then POW! They're married!  I have a brother-in-law.  'Bout damn time, too.    Congratulations, you two...  

Grandma Joy got a new pond (actually, technically, a 'water feature'), so we had to have a party!  Of course, no party is complete without a trip to the hospital...  This time was Julian's turn, after having a little too much fun.   Turned out to be nothing, but oh what fun!

Went to Cherry Creek Reservoir for our version of the beach.

Doreen got new picture frames for my certifications. Stylin'!

Julian got a new, big thing in his room.

Our friend Daria has found the ultimate man, after diligent searching.  She seems VERY happy. 

We got bored and replaced the kitchen counter.  Can you say grout?
